What do we discuss during the free 15-minute phone consultation?
This call is a great opportunity for you to get a sense of my approach and determine if we’re the right fit for each other, in terms of your therapy needs.
During this consultation, we’ll cover key details to help you make an informed decision. These may vary depending on the specific service: scheduling and availability, session structure, intake and assessment process, and fees and payment options.
I also want to hear from you! This is your chance to share what brings you to therapy, your therapeutic goals, and any questions you have for me.
This conversation is meant to be informative and supportive, ensuring you feel confident in your next steps.
What are your current fees for therapy?
Current Session Fee Individual (60 minutes): $180
Couples Session Fee Individual (60 minutes): $200
Sessions are subject to being prorated based on the session length (for example, initial sessions are 75 minutes in length for individuals and 90 min for couples, which means the hourly rate is prorated accordingly).
Psychotherapy is not covered under OHIP, however, as a registered psychotherapist, our services are usually covered by extended health care plans or employment assistance plans. Please check with your provider directly to see if services are covered.
What is your cancellation policy?
I completely understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice.
If something unexpected, like illness or a family emergency, comes up, please let me know—I’m here to support you. Otherwise, cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be subject to the full session fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
